Student Medicover administers the student health insurance plan through UnitedHealthcare. As a preferred partner of UnitedHealthcare Student Resources, Student Medicover provides high-quality insurance plans and dependable service to Sotheby’s students.
All F-1 international students must maintain valid health insurance throughout the academic year to ensure compliance with institutional policy and access to quality healthcare while studying in the U.S.
OPT students: F-1 students on Optional Practical Training (OPT) are eligible to enroll in a Student Medicover insurance plan. Please note that the grace period between graduation and the official start of OPT is not eligible for insurance enrollment or renewal. We highly recommend that students select a plan at the beginning of their academic program that includes coverage during this transitional period.
