One of the key advantages of Student Medicover is that UnitedHealthcare Student Resources (UHCSR) serves as both the insurance company, the network provider, and the claims processor. This integration streamlines your experience and reduces confusion and delays.
If you visited an out-of-network provider or your school’s student health center cannot bill your claims, you may log in to your UHCSR account and use the claim submission portal to submit a claim. You can upload your official insurance card, monthly bank statement, and an itemized bill including provider address, provider tax ID, diagnosis code, and procedure code. Please allow up to 20 business days for the insurance company to process your claims.
