Yes, if you are 18 or older, we offer a variety of dental and vision insurance and discount plans to suit your needs. Our plans cover pediatric dental and vision care, except for the Basic plan. Additionally, Supreme, Elite, and Prime 100 include $200 in vision coverage.

2024-2025 Policy Year Supreme, Elite, Prime 100, and Prime 500 have no pre-existing conditions waiting period or exclusion.
If you visited an In-Network provider, please show your official insurance card during your visit; in-network providers will submit your claims to UHCSR directly, so you don’t need to submit the claim by yourself. If you visited an Out-of-network provider or your school’s student health center cannot bill your claims to the insurance company. You may login to your UHCSR account, click on “Submit Claim” and submit a claim in your portal. The system will require you to submit your official insurance card, monthly statement from your bank and an Itemized bill including provider address, provider tax ID, diagnosis code and procedure code. Please allow up to 20 business days for the insurance company to process your claims.
Yes, it is covered if you are enrolled in the Prime 500/Prime100/Elite/Supreme plan.
Note: you need to get prescription drugs from the in-network pharmacies.
For 2024- 2025 policy year, Student Medicover Global care basic, Global care plus, Prime 500, Prime 100, Elite, Supreme plans can cover prescription drugs if you purchase the drug from in-network pharmacy. Please note our plans does not provide benefits for drugs purchased at out of network pharmacy stores.
Most insurance plans, including Student Medicover, typically provide coverage for prescription drugs but do not include coverage for Over-The-Counter (OTC) medications such as Tylenol.
